This is a random edition curated by our one and only wine bae- Obadius, who will not only sprinkle your night with some spicy music flavors but also with 3 artists who are complimenting the theme of this night: flavor, diversity and a rich taste in music!
Not too long ago, we hosted Clive Henry, the legendary resident DJ of Circoloco at DC 10 Ibiza and for those of you who have been to Ibiza, you definitely know that the closing season withdrawals are carrying on till the opening on the new season in the end of May,
This year even more so since Space- the best club in the world shut its doors after 27 years of memorable music for the party goes around the world. Even though Space is due to reopen sometimes next year, we are still reminiscing about the good times of 27 years of music awesomeness in Playa D'en Bossa.
That is why Marco Loco returns to the rescue. A true Ibiza head, and having graced the decks of the legendary Space for 6 years as a resident DJ, there is no better way to feel that epic vibe than to have him again in The Sweatbox. Currently Marco is curating one of the most insane parties on the planet- Jungle Experience, on the island of Koh Phangan in Thailand who sees tousands of revellers dancing every month till the wee hours on the scenic beach of this little island gem.
For the first time in The Sweatbox, Alan Tand, the resident DJ of Jiro KL will be joining us with his crisp selection of techy tunes. Alan Tand is hailing from indonesia and his extensive experience curating events and helming the decks of some of the wildest parties in the region are granting you an exciting time with him behind the console
Odd V , another first timer in The Sweatbox tends towards the more uplifting and psychedelic kind of vibe and recently returned from Goa where he delighed his audience with his fresh music picks.
This party is meant to give music a sense of belonging and a sense of familiarity with music well played.
The experience of our 3 guests is undeniable and so is their talent behind the decks.
Our wine bae, Obadius is testing new ground as far as music direction is concerned, he is working hard in the studio focusing a lot on the production front and his melodic take has recently taken a very complex turn.His busy gig schedule has seen him starting 2017 en force, playing alongside quality artists whose names are only spelt in large fonts on the party flyers around the world. This being said ,quality is everyting so we are looking forward to share a piece of our little non mainstream music world with all of you this Saturday
It's fascinating how tastes adapt and evolve and how, lead by his very dancefloor and his own driving force-the passion for music, week after week he delivers exceptionally crafted sets and as a resident DJ of the Sweatbox, this week he will establish yet another benchmark in his music career- his own party !
