Vince Chong first entered the music scene in 2002 when he got first runner up in Astro Talent Quest. He then became the first reality show champion in Akademi Fantasia in 2003. He went on to win Best Newcomer awards in Anugerah Industry Muzik (best male vocal), Anugerah Era and Anugerah Planet Muzik (a competition that involves artistes from Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore). He now has 5 albums under his belt (4 Malay and 1 English).
Vince has worked with the likes of Aubrey Suwito and David Foster. He was also featured in the Disney soundtracks (Asian version) of High School Musical 1 and 2 alongside Jaclyn Victor. He has performed in over 20 musicals, 5 theatre productions and 5 films. He is also a composer, producer and aspiring film director. Currently, he is also a vocal and acting coach.
