Tribute to Linkin Park : Honoring Chester [MY]

On July 20th 2017, Malaysians & the world was devastated by the loss of the stellar nu metal vocalist, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park. He wasn't just one of the brightest stars in the rock scene, but an inspiration and a friend whose music has helped us all through our tough times in his prime. We believe that his departure shouldn't be the end; for this we present to you this tribute to honor his memories and to keep his dreams alive the only way we know how to. 45+ different Linkin Park tracks will be covered by some of the notable acts in the local scene, expect to be entertained by nostalgic LP tracks dated as early as their 'Hybrid Theory' era till 'One More Light' era. Also featuring a few 6-piece bands to give you a proper LP concert expereience !

This 17th September guys! We are fortunate for all the support that we are getting. Linkin Park Revolution Malaysia (malaysia official linkin park fan club) is giving they full utmost support and Warner Music will also provide a signed T-shirt by LP to be auctioned off in the gig and the money would be contributed to Befriender (suicide prevention NGO).

We are also grateful to Komuniti Pemuzik, Indieplosion Matic.FM, and mykampus radio as our media coverage. We are also very lucky that POMADE HOUZ and their partners will sponsor some LUCKY DRAW prices for crowds who are present.

Its a night that you can't miss. The tickets are only RM15. Disclaimer we are not taking advantage of the tragic death of Chester. The sales of the tickets are just to cover the cost of the venue that is shared by all the bands. (That's why we put "& Friends" as organiser because ALL bands are in this together). And any profit that we get from the sales from the tickets will also be donated to Befrienders.

We are putting this show together to remember our hero. How he has touched us with his words and voice. How he helped us go through our lives listening to songs that relatable to us and knowing we are not alone.

We also want to help raise awareness while we honor our childhood hero. We want to at least learn from what has happen and hope that people will realise depression is as serious as any other terminal health problems. So we invite you to come to our gig, enjoy the night to remember and honor chester for the lessons from his life. Thank you.
