MNS SB Flora Committee is looking for volunteers to maintain the nursery located next to MNS HQ.
Flora Group is sowing seeds of our local trees and distribute its seedlings and saplings to the public to encourage preservation of our local species, greening our community and even to assist to reforest a certain place that has been stripped barren of its green glory. Besides doing tasks such as watering, weeding, seed bagging or undertake building or repair work at the nursery, you will be meeting and working with like-minded people who cares for the environment.
We are also collaborating with UCF to make MNS nursery as a community garden. In mid September 2016, a herb plot was birthed and she is striving well under our volunteers’ care. However, to ensure her continuity, we require regular volunteers to tend to her.
